1. Если серийный номер слетел из-за неверных настроек приложения (об этом ниже), вам придётся полностью деинсталлировать приложение его штатным деинсталлятором (есть внутри LittleSnitch-3.0.dmg) и затем вручную удалить каталог /Library/Application Support/Objective Development
При желании можно предварительно экспортировать Little Snitch Rules. Это сэкономит вам время после переустановки приложения.
2. Сразу после установки приложения отключите автообновление в настройках приложения. Open Little Snitch Preferences --> Вкладка Update: удалите птички в обоих чекбоксах.
Собственно говоря, это всё, что нужно сделать, чтобы приложение нормально работало и серийный номер не слетал. В сети на многочисленных форумах есть инструкции по лечению Little Snitch третьей версии, в которых говорится о необходимости блокировать приложению доступ на родные сервера. Это предлагается делать либо созданием соответствующих правил (Rules) в самом приложении, либо занесением ряда доменов в файл /etc/hosts. Эти манипуляции являются совершенно бессмысленными. Единственный эффект, к которому они приводят - невозможность просмотра в браузерах родного сайта Little Snitch. "Чёрный список" серийных номеров (blacklist) вшит в само приложение и если регистрация выполнена серийным номером из этого списка, то она слетит ровно через 3 часа, даже если вы вообще не подключены к Интернету. Если регистрация выполнена незасвеченным (для текущей версии приложения) серийным номером, но работает автообновление, то будет загружен и установлен свежий blacklist, в котором учтены все доступные пиратам серийные номера и регистрация тоже слетит. Таким образом, ключевым моментом для правильного лечения 3-й версии Little Snitch является отключение автообновления. А о том, чтобы серийный номер был подходящим, позаботится автор раздачи.

0) Устанавливаем Little Snitch, перезагружаем компьютер после этого
вводим серийный номер.
1) Помещаем файл "com.lsreset.plist" на рабочем столе.
2) Откройте терминал и введите или скопируйте:
/Desktop/com.lsreset.plist /Library/LaunchDaemons
запрашивает пароль, вводитм его и нажмите клавишу enter.
3) вводим следующую команду в терминал:
таким образом, Little Snitch остается в демо-режиме на неопределенный срок, и не падает каждые три часа.
Файл который находиться на раб-столе поле этого можно удалить.

Little Snitch runs in the background and hooks into the operating system kernel while you are logged in. When an application tries to establish a network connection, Little Snitch intercepts the attempt and brings up an alert panel, telling you all the connection details including the name of the application which initiated the connection. You can either allow the connection, deny it or add a permanent rule for similar future-connections.
You start an application that tells you that a new version is available. You suddenly realize that with every start this application connects to the developer's server. Even statistics information about your computer may be sent this way. Little Snitch helps you avoid this situation.
Trojan horses - i.e. programs transmitting unconsciously data stored on your computer - can be detected by Little Snitch and prevented on the transmission of data.

Little Snitch vs. Conventional Firewalls
Conventional firewalls like the built-in firewall in Mac OS X base their rules only on internet addresses and port numbers, not on application names. This makes them mostly useful for filtering incoming connections because services listen on well known port numbers.
Contrary to incoming connections (which usually go to a fixed port), outgoing connections come from random port numbers. This makes it very hard to filter them in an ordinary firewall. This is where Little Snitch fills the gap: It allows you to filter connections based on the application which attempts the connection. And to make it even more handy, Little Snitch can build the rule set interactively: It pops up a dialog when an application tries to connect and asks you what to do.
Since Little Snitch and conventional firewalls fulfill complementary tasks, we recommend that you run both: Little Snitch for connections originating at your own computer and the conventional firewall for attacks from outside.
