Race the Killer is a combination of a walking/running Google maps directions application and an outdoor location based game.

*There are 5 different Killers to race with and they are randomly choosen at the start of the race*

Race the Killer keeps you company while you are walking or running, motivates you to exercise and also provides you with walking directions by showing you the route

to your destination and writter directions for every step of that route.

In Race the Killer you set your walking/running destination on Google maps and you start a race with a vicious Killer.

The Killer appears near your position and starts moving through the streets to get to your destination following the shortest walking route.

You need to arrive there first in order to prevent him from killing everyone there. There are 5 different Killers with different icons,scenarios and messages for you to race!

Additionally this game provides you with the walking/running route the Killer follows for the destination you set and you can choose among various speeds for the Killer to match your walking or running style and have a fun trip. remember thought to keep your eyes on the road while playing this game :)

The concept of the game is the race against a Killer (an icon marker on a Google Map) that tries to approach your destination (represented by a House icon marker) and kill the people inside it.

You have to get there first in order to save them.

Lets see how it works:

First of all there is an Wi-Fi A-GPS test game mode were you can get walking directions or try the game indoors without GPS fix available.

Lets see how the GPS game works..

After you get a GPS fix you can see a detective icon marker that shows your location on the map. (If your GPS is slow you can download "GPS Status" a great app to get GPS fixes really fast. )

Then you can double tap on the map to set your destination that is showed up by a House icon marker.

Finally just hit the "Race Him" button and a Killer icon marker will appear near you and start moving through the nearby streets trying to get to your destination first and kill everybody there.

You can try to win this race by following your own route or you can press the route button to show or hide the route the killer will follow and also the "Knife" icons in the step points of the route that provide you with written walking directions to the next step. That gives you instructions on how to get to the destination you set too but will probably, depending on your phone model, affect the speed of the Killer if the route is showing on the map (Killer position and Google map may refresh slower).

Also there are many speeds you can choose from for the Killer on start up in order to match your own walking/running style with him and have a fun race.
