Сборка включает редкие кодеки выведенные из официальной поставки по коммерческим соображениям разработчиков. В свободном доступе этих кодеков нигде нет. Работающие плагины для h.264 и aac для этого плеера также включены в поставку.
Плеер снабжен мини-инсталлятором.
ВНИМАНИЕ! При всех достоинствах плеер имеет техническое ограничение: он открывает файлы любого размера, но видит только первые 1739Mb. Для просмотра больших видеофайлов их придется разбивать на соответствующие куски.

Всё работает, но файлы размером чуть более 2 Гб плеер показывает как пустые папки и просмотреть их нельзя (папка открывается, а внутри пусто). Это не дефект файла, а ограничение плеера: чтобы посмотреть фильм "Ганди" надо либо разрезать его, либо вырезать одну звуковую дорожку.
Это готовая портативная сборка (плагин субтитров уже установлен) показывает только внешние субтитры в формате *.smi
Конвертер smi_drop.exe был разработан как временное решение для исправления недостатка субтитрового плагина TCPMP, когда слова разрываются в произвольном месте, что резко снижает читабельность текста. Кроме того позволяет быстро и удобно конвертировать сразу несколько файлов и задать коррекцию тайминга.
Программа принимает на входе самые распространённые форматы субтитров:

SubStation Alpha (*.ssa)
Advanced SubStation Alpha (*.ass)
SAMI Captioning (*.smi)
Файлы с другими расширениями игнорируются.
Субтитры могут быть в кодировках ANSI, UTF-8 и юникоде.
Выходные файлы имеют имя исходного, но с расширением *.smi (если исходный файл - *.smi, то расширение добавляется к существующему) и при повторном преобразовании перезаписываются без вопросов и подтверждений.

Назначение программыTCPMP – мультимедийный проигрыватель способный стать хорошей заменой стандартному приложению. Минимальные системные требования и поддержка большого количества форматов аудио и видео делаю этот плеер одним из лучших в среде бесплатного ПО. Установка кодеков и модулей позволит воспроизводить файлы, формат которых разработчики не учли. Программа не может похвастаться богатым интерфейсом, зато предоставляет массу настроек.

Для установки данного приложения необходимо найти последние бесплатные сборки TCPMP в сети, на данный момент таковой сборкой является - 0,72RC1. Далее перенести дистрибутив в память устройства и выполнить установку.
Запуск программыПосле завершения установки, инсталлятором будет автоматически создан ярлык программы в соответствующем разделе меню Пуск - Программы

После нажатия на иконке в меню Пуск, перед Вами предстает основное окно программы. Оно состоит из рабочего пространства, в котором происходит отображение воспроизводимого материала. Ползунка, который отображает прогресс воспроизведения, а также контекстного меню Файл и Опции. Далее за контекстными менюшками идут кнопки управления приложением, такие как плей/пауза, перемотка и стоп.

Кроме кнопок, отвечающих за воспроизведение, на рабочей панели расположена кнопка, при нажатии которой воспроизведение переходит в полноэкранный режим с поворотом экрана на 90 градусов, в так называемое ландшафтное положение. За кнопкой полноэкранного режима расположен ползунок, регулирующий уровень громкости звука.

Первым делом, для проверки работы подобного рода программ, необходимо что-то с ее помощью открыть, для этого переходим по контекстному меню Файл-Открыть файл и попадаем в окно выбора файла. Где в нижней его части расположены кнопки:
Ок - подтверждение выбора;
Фильтр - производит фильтрацию отображаемых файлов, по выбранной маске, очень удобно использовать данную функцию для тех, у кого все лежит в одном каталоге и тяжело зрительно найти искомый файл;
Отмена - возвращение к окну плеера;
Несколько - данная функция позволит Вам выбрать не один файл, а несколько, для того, чтобы не выполнять однообразные действия добавления из одного каталога.

Программа TCPMP (The Core Pocket Media Player) предназначена для просмотра видео на мобильных устройствах в самых различных форматах.
TCPMP поддерживает большое количество форматов видео и аудио:
wma, avi, 3gp, mpg, mp4, m4a, ogg, ogm, mkv, asf, amr, ac3. mp3, aac — т.е. его можно использовать, как видео- и аудио-плеер.
Полностью поддерживает русский язык и является абсолютно бесплатной! При этом по возможностям различных настроек, TCPMP во многом превосходит своих конкурентов.
Можно регулировать скорость воспроизведения видео от 10% до 200%, так что замедленный показ доступен.
“Масштаб” позволяет устанавливать размеры проигрываемого видео — от 50% до 200%.
“Пропорции” — выбираем формат видео: 4:3, 16:9, а лучше всего поставить Авто.
В пункте “Ориентация” можно выбрать поворот экрана на 90, 270 или 180 градусов. Поворот осуществляется тапом по окошку, где проигрывается видео.
Вид позволяет убрать или добавить на экран заголовок ролика, полосу прокрутки и панель задач.
Пункты меню “Повторять” и “Перемешать” отвечают, соответственно, за повтор одного и того же ролика и за случайное воспроизведение.
Таким образом, видеоплеер для коммуникаторов и КПК полностью удовлетворит и тех, кто любит покопаться в настройках и тех, кому важно просто запустить видео и наслаждаться.
Данная сборка (TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03) сделана специально для аппаратов Samsung i900 WiTu
