Как и обещал, пройдусь немного по расширениям для браузера Google Chrome (или Chromium — как мы выяснили, это разные браузеры с практически идентичным кодом). Расширения для Хрома выглядят некой слабоструктурированной кучей, разбираться в которой можно только с помощью поиска (ну Гугл же браузер разрабатывает), поэтому, если точно не знаешь, что искать, можно зависнуть в их рассматривании надолго.

Итак, что я выбрал для себя из того множества, которое довелось потестить да почитать.

Сразу же наткнулся на несколько прекрасных расширений, являющихся полноценными twitter-клиентами:

Silver Bird  — выбрал именно его в качестве своего твиттер-клиента в Chrome. Простой, но может практически все, что нужно. В качестве вариантов также рассматривались приложения Seesmic . TweetDeck и HootSuite . Выбор был сделан чисто субъективно.

Кроме того, для удобного постинга просматриваемого URL в соц. сети установил дополнение HootSuite Hootlet  — удобно, что можно чуть ли не в один клик постить в любой из прикрепленных к Hootsuite аккаунтов, включая Facebook.

Для блокировки всякого мусора на страницах выбрал AdBlock+ Element Hiding Helper  — отличие от других адблок-расширений в том, что, кроме списочных установок, это может скрывать элементы, которые вы сами выберите.

Далее, Google Reader Checker  — иконка с количеством непрочитанных сообщений в Гуггл-ридере (таких расширений там навалом — различаются одной-двумя фичами). Для Gmail, в который перенаправлены все мои почтовые аккаунты, был выбран Google Mail Checker Plus . опять же чисто субъективно мне показался самым приятным из предложенных — выбор есть.

Для удобного пользования вебмани — установил WebMoney Keeper Mini Extension  — маленькое всплывающее окошко с мини-кипером (для правильного отображения выбрать скин Mobile).

Для синхронизации паролей между браузерами — LastPass . для синхронизации избранного — Xmarks Bookmarks Sync и Faviconize Google . как небольшое дополнение к Google-поиску. Что касается любимого поисковика, то для него тоже были установлены пара дополнений — Google Ads Search remover (убирает рекламу из результатов поиска), Faviconize Google (добавление иконок сайта в результаты поиска).

Конечно же, установил SpeedDial 2 (превьюшки избранных страниц) — куда ж без него и Sexy Undo Close Tab (кнопка со списком недавно закрытых вкладок), а также Flag for Chrome (флажок страны, в которой физически расположен сервер сайта — при нажатии всплывает некоторая информация о сервере и домене).

Для SEO пригодятся такие расширения, как RDS bar (собственно тИЦ/PR/количество страниц в индексе и множество другой быстрой информации о сайте, на котором вы находитесь в данный момент) или еще варианты: SEO for Chrome или SeoQuake  — довольно мощные SEO-фичи.

iMacros for Chrome  — помощник для автовыполнения неких повторяющихся действий.

Для YouTube — Stop Autoplay for YouTube (остановка автозапуска видео, при этом кеш работает) или YouTube Options (различные настройки популярного видеохостинга). А для скачивания видео с YouTube — YouTube Video Download .

Для убивания обратного отсчета на соответствующих файлообменниках — FileFactory DownloadHelper. DepositFiles Download Helper. RapidShare DownloadHelper. MegaUpload DownloadHelper и т.д. — см. здесь .

Расширение Nice alert сделает выскакивающие окошки симпатичными всплывающими, а Webpage Decorator поможет изменить отображение некоторых страниц (удобно для, например, замены кривых шрифтов на сайтах). Возможно, еще приятнее будет использовать расширение Stylish . под которое существует множество стилей для многих сайтов, позволяющих изменить последние до неузнаваемости.

С помощью расширения Webpage Screenshot можно сделать снимок открытой страницы, причем, как видимой части ее, так и всей.

Полезное расширение для Вконтакте — VKontakte Tools (позволяет скачивать музыку, видео, проверять новые сообщения, чат, изменение некоторых настроек сайта) — если не нравится это расширение, то там хватает аналогичных. Естественно, навалом всяческих примочек для Facebook . Также есть много разного для Last.Fm (если пользуетесь этим сервисом)

Расширения Postponer Adder и Postponer Manager  — это то же расширение, что и Read It Later для Firefox (сами разработчики почему-то сделали его в виде кнопок на панель закладок, что не очень удобно).

Для тех, кому чего-то не хватает, чуть ли не в реальном времени пояляются новые расширения. так что не ровен час, именно ваши пожелания будут учтены среди этих вновь разрабатываемых фишек.

Ну и хочется высказать небольшое «фи» — когда расширений с кнопками становится много, панель возле адресной строки становится очень длинной, а возможности перенести кнопки хотя бы на панель закладок я не нашел — а зря. Надеюсь, что это лишь болезнь роста, а не принципиальная позиция.
