It does catch about 90% of spam.
You have to monitory it - has a few "false positives" and every now and then valid email is moved to spam folder. Also: It's "Nag Ware". They constantly hound you for money until you pay. And even after paying they push their other software and services on you constantly.
I used to think SpamFighter was great since it was the first anti spam software I tried many years ago. I even registered the software after getting sick of the constant ads (this thing is worse than some iPhone apps with the constant ads). But even after registering - they would still occasionally push their other software or services on me. Ironic that my anti spam software was sending me spam.
Spam blocking was impressive. Went from about 1,000 spams a day in my inbox down to maybe 50 or so. But had to check my spam folder occasionally because once or twice a week a valid email from a customer might accidentally be moved to the spam folder.
Then I upgraded to Outlook 2016 and I couldn't make SpamFighter work with it. So I ventured out on the web to see what else was available. I found DesktopOne. and I installed it.
DesktopOne works perfect with Outlook 2016 and during the week I've been trying it out the spams in my inbox have reduced from 50 or so with SpamFighter down to only 1 or 2 per day. DesktopOne has an AMAZING SPAM filter. And no false-positives yet.
Best yet? I'm not getting inundated with ads from my anti spam company to buy their other crap.
Last year I would have given SpamFighter 3 stars. But now they get 2 stars from me because I've learned there are much better options out there.
