Способы установки

Метод 1 - Windows Update

Требование: Центр обновлений Windows (Windows Update) должен находиться в работоспособном состоянии, поскольку с его помощью загружаются необходимые компоненты.

Метод 2 - дистрибутив

Может не работать по причине уже установленных обновлений .NET (тогда см. https://support2.microsoft.com/kb/3005628). Подключите установочный ISO (волшебный пункт в контекстном меню) и в командной строке, запущенной с правами администратора. выполните:

где Х - буква подключенного ISO

1. Установка языкового пакета перед установкой .NET Framework приводит к проблемам, что задокументировано в MSDN. Удалите языковой пакет, если установлен.

Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (автономный установщик) на Оф.сайте есть, а 3.5 нет.

В Windows 8 он постоянно нужен при установках разного ПО. Особенно при установках родных утилит для ноутбуков.

Действительно в силу того, что не у каждого есть навыки работы с Командной строкой, что не каждый может включить и т.д. Может не быть Интернета.

Известно, что .NET Framework 3.5 входит в состав образа Windows 8 и 8.1, и что его можно включить и записать образ с уже включеным.

Но бывают разные ситуации и разные навыки работы с ПК.

Один только вопрос. Этот автономный установщик специфический для Windows 8.1 или для Windows 8 тоже можно применять?

А то сейчас модно много чего выпускать и делать для Windows 8.1.

Windows 8.1 net 3.5

Когда всё работает нормально. Net framework 3.5 ставится практически без участия пользователя, но если что-то пойдет не так, то без бубна практически не обойтись, да и бубен приходится выбирать тщательно и бить в него определенным образом. Вот и у меня получилось так, что что-то пошло очень не так.

Переустанавливал я как-то систему и пошел сложным путем, т.е. сначала поставил Windows 8, а потом обновил её до 8.1. Программа обновления не давала поставить 8.1 до тех пор, пока я не установлю все обновления на существующую систему. Вот тут и пошло что-то не так. Или из-за того, что во время обновления начал ставиться злосчастный .Net или еще из-за чего, но когда он внезапно понадобился, то ставиться отказался совсем.

Ругань шла кодом ошибки 0x800F0906. В интернете рекомендовали запустить установку вручную командой:

Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:D:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

D:\sources\sxs - это пусть к папке "sxs " из дистрибутива операционной системы.

Но с моим везением и эта команда в итоге выдавала ту саму ошибку.

Изучив содержимое папки, я пришел к выводу, что у неё много общего с " WinSxS " из уже установленной системы. Хуже уже всё равно не будет, поэтому я вынул эту папку из образа системы, который я снял перед установкой новой системы. На момент краха .Net framework 3.5 там стоял, так что его файлы в том месиве должны быть. Натравив " Dism " на этот каталог, я с удивлением обнаружил, что процесс установки дошел до 100% и успешно завершился. Программа, которая этот фреймворк требовала, заработала.

Экзекуции над системой всё равно закончились еще одной переустановкой, но еще один пусть обхода проблем с установкой всё равно решил зафиксировать.

Иногда мы сталкиваемся с проблемой отстутствия библиотек .NET Framework 2, 3.5, 4, 4.5 (4.5.1). Но, если в операционных сисемах ниже ниже Windows 8 (например, Windows XP) эта проблема решается простым скачиванием пакета .NET Framework и установкой его как простого программного обеспечения, то в случае с Windows 8/8.1 это не получится (Вы столкнетесь с ошибкой). На самом деле в Windows 8/8.1 по умолчанию установлена версия .NET Framework 4.5 и 4.5.1 соответственно.

Но если разработчики не учли возможность запуска своего ПО на версиях .NET более новой версии, то эта проблема решается с помощью активации старых версий .NET в ОС. Для этого Вам нужно зайти в «This PC» (комбинация клавиш «Win»+E) и нажать кнопку  «Uninstall or change a program» («Удалить или изменить программу»):

Затем нажать на ссылку «Turn Windows features on or off» («Включение или отключение компонентов Windows»):

В открывшемся окне выбрать «.NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)» («NET Framework 3.5 (включает.NET 2.0 и3.0)»):

Жмем «ОК» и ждем окончания установки.

Fix 0x800F0906 and 0x800F081F Error Messages While Installing

You might be aware of the fact that Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 operating systems don't come with Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installed. But there are many 3rd party software programs which require .NET Framework 3.5 in your system. In such cases you need to install the .NET Framework 3.5 version in Windows 8/8.1 manually.

There are 2 ways to install .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows 8/8.1:

• Online Install
• Offline Install

In Online Install method, you install .NET Framework 3.5 using Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off option. In this method, Windows first downloads the setup files of .NET Framework 3.5 from Internet and then installs it in your computer system.

In Offline Install method, you use a built-in command to install .NET Framework 3.5 directly using Windows setup disc without requiring Internet connection as mentioned here . You can also use Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Offline Installer to automatically install .NET Framework 3.5 offline in Windows 8/8.1.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

Recently we have received many comments and emails from our readers regarding a few error messages while installing .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows 8/8.1. Whenever users try to install .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows 8/8.1, they receive following error messages:

Error: 0x800F081F

The source files could not be found.

Error: 0x800F0906

The source files could not be downloaded.

Windows couldn't connect to the Internet to download necessary files. Make sure that you're connected to the Internet and click "Retry" to try again.

It doesn't matter whether they try online method or offline method, the same error messages and codes are shown by Windows.

PROBLEM REASON:

Actually these error messages are coming due to following 3 updates recently released by Microsoft for .NET Framework 3.5:

Above mentioned updates are security updates for .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2. These updates are applied via Windows Update regardless of whether you have .NET Framework 3.5 enabled or not. If these updates are installed in your system and you try to install .NET Framework 3.5, you'll receive 0x800F0906 and 0x800F081F error messages.

PROBLEM SOLUTION:

To fix this problem, you just need to uninstall these security updates from your system and then install .NET Framework 3.5. After successfully installing Framework version, you can reinstall the security updates without any problem.

So if you are also facing this problem, just follow these simple steps to fix the issue:

1. Open Control Panel. click on Programs and Features icon and then click on View installed updates link present in the left sidebar.

2. Now scroll down a little and look for following updates:

3. Once you find the updates, right-click on each update and select Uninstall option. Alternatively, you can double-click on the updates to directly uninstall them or click on Uninstall button present in the toolbar.

4. After uninstalling the updates, try to install .NET Framework 3.5 again using any method and this time it should install without any problem.

After installing NET Framework 3.5, you can reinstall the security updates using Windows Update.

NOTE: Microsoft has also released a new update KB3005628 to fix this issue. This new update automatically uninstalls the problematic updates KB2966827 and KB2966828 from computers.

Windows 8

Many applications require the .NET Framework 3.5 on my tablet runnning the Windows 8.1 build 9471. However, when I go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features on/off and try to install it, I get the message “Error code: 0x800F0906. Windows couldn’t connect to the internet to download the necessary files.” and it can’t complete the installations. How can I resolve the problem?

The Windows 8.1 only has the built-in .NET FRAMWORK 4.5, without an incorporated version 3.5. If you need to install the specified version for certain apps, try the following tips to fix the error code 0x800F0906 .

* Make sure there is an normal internet connection and you have instlled all available updates on your device.

* The manual install from the system disk.

1. Right-click on the Start button to open Power User Menu, click on Command Prompt (Admin). and click Yes.

2. Insert Windows installation disc in CD/DVD Drive.

3. Type the command:

Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:E:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

change E :\ to your cd/dvd drive letter and press Enter.

* If the above method still can’t get it working, go to edit the Registry Editor to predetermine a location of a WIM file.

1. Press Win + R from keyboard, input regedit and click OK button.

2. Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and navigate to the location:

SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v3.5

3. In the right panel, right-click to create the DWORD Values, name it as CBS. and modify its Value data to 1. Repeat the same way for Install. and SP .

Then create a new string value, name it as InstallPath and type C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5 for the Value data.
